Your Story Matters
The Lift the Mask Film Festival presented by The Quell Foundation invites filmmakers to share original short films exploring mental health, resilience, and the stories we don’t always share. We welcome films that illuminate vulnerability and healing, identity and pressure, isolation and connection, breakdown and breakthrough moments, or any lived experience that shapes how we understand ourselves and others. Submissions should approach the subject with care and respect: helping to normalize honest conversations and reduce the stigma through storytelling.
Winners of each category and their guest will be invited to The Riviera Theater (Charleston, SC) for a November 6, 2026 showcase of their film, with recognition, followed by an exclusive premiere of The Quell Foundation’s 3rd documentary. Winners and their guest will also be invited to attend the Foundation’s exclusive annual gala on November 7, 2026.
