Our mission

There’s a severe stigma associated with mental health preventing those closest to us from getting the help they need. Kevin Lynch founded The Quell Foundation to educate communities about mental illness. Quell’s mission is realized through tireless work in the areas of training, access, and awareness. By promoting open, judgment-free dialogue, together we can shatter the stigma.

We prepare first responders to recognize and respond to signs of mental distress, teach law enforcement agencies advanced mental health crisis intervention skills, and support service dog training throughout the country.

By promoting open, judgment-free dialogue, together we can shatter the stigma.”

We strive to educate communities and individuals on how to properly care for individuals suffering from mental illness, to help reduce the number of suicides, drug overdoses, and incarcerations.
